EFB battery OEM
Chengguang Power Tech manufactures EFB (enhanced flooded) batteries on an OEM basis for entry-level start-stop and higher-cycling applications.
What EFB means
EFB is an enhanced flooded battery: conventional flooded construction with improvements that raise cycling durability. It sits between standard SLI and AGM — better cycling than SLI, lower cost than AGM.
Where EFB fits
Entry-level start-stop vehicles, vehicles with moderate accessory load, and markets where AGM cost is not justified by the duty cycle.
What you define
Standard family and case (JIS, DIN/EN, BCI), capacity at C20, CCA on a named test basis, terminal type and polarity, and the label and packaging.
OEM terms
MOQ follows the container (typically one 20ft container); production lead time is 30–45 days. Manufacturing is under IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 with 100% end-of-line testing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is EFB better than a standard SLI battery?
For start-stop duty, yes — EFB is built for more cycling than a standard SLI battery. It is not a substitute for AGM where the vehicle specifies AGM.
Can EFB batteries be private-labelled?
Yes. EFB batteries are available for private-label programs with your brand, label, packaging and documentation.
What MOQ applies to EFB OEM?
Typically one 20ft container; the exact load depends on group size and pallet configuration.
Which markets use EFB?
Mainly European and other markets with widespread entry-level start-stop vehicles.
