AGM battery OEM
Chengguang Power Tech manufactures AGM (absorbent glass mat) batteries on an OEM basis for start-stop vehicles and high-electrical-load applications.
What AGM means
AGM batteries hold the electrolyte in a glass-fibre mat rather than as free liquid. They accept charge faster, cycle deeper and handle higher electrical loads than conventional flooded batteries — which is why start-stop and high-accessory vehicles specify them.
Where AGM fits
Start-stop cars and light-commercial vehicles, vehicles with high accessory load, and applications where cycling durability matters more than the lowest unit cost.
What you define
Standard family and case (JIS, DIN/EN, BCI), capacity at C20, CCA on a named test basis, terminal type and polarity, and the label and packaging.
OEM terms
MOQ follows the container (typically one 20ft container); production lead time is 30–45 days. AGM orders may add sampling time for specification confirmation. Manufacturing is under IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 with 100% end-of-line testing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between AGM and EFB?
AGM uses a glass-fibre mat that holds electrolyte and supports higher charge acceptance; EFB is an enhanced flooded battery with better cycling than a standard SLI but a lower cost point. Start-stop vehicles may specify either, depending on the vehicle.
Can Chengguang OEM AGM batteries under my brand?
Yes. AGM batteries are available for OEM and private-label programs; specification, sampling, branding and packaging are confirmed on inquiry.
What MOQ applies to AGM OEM?
Typically one 20ft container, because lead-acid freight economics collapse at a full container load and pallet stacking caps the practical load.
Which standards are available for AGM?
JIS, DIN/EN and BCI group sizes, confirmed per market.
